Job Posting: Education Outreach Program Coordinator (Summer Camp)
Location: Lillooet, BC
Hours: 35 hours/week (July & August, Summer Break)
Pay: $17.80/hour

Job Overview:
Join our summer camp team in Lillooet as an Education Outreach Program Coordinator! Engage with campers, lead fun activities, and ensure a safe, supportive environment for kids during the summer break.

​

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and schedule activities with staff; ensure all campers are accounted for.

• Greet campers and parents, explain rules, and answer questions politely.

• Monitor camper safety, enforce rules, administer first aid, and handle emergencies.

• Lead recreational activities, promote teamwork, and encourage participation.

• Provide individual support and encouragement to campers.​

 

Skills You'll Develop:

• Client Service: Communicate professionally with campers and parents.

• Teamwork: Collaborate with staff and campers to coordinate tasks.

• Communication: Share ideas clearly through speaking and listening.

• Leadership: Lead activities, make decisions, and ensure safety.

• Digital Skills: Use basic tools for scheduling or camper tracking (if applicable).​

 

Requirements:

• Strong English communication skills (additional languages an asset).

• Enthusiasm for working with children and promoting a positive camp experience.

• Ability to handle emergencies and administer first aid (training provided if needed).

• ​Age 15–30 at the start of employment (CSJ requirement)

• Canadian citizen, permanent resident with a valid Social Insurance Number.
